definitely change your plugs before you blow a coilpack. you could get the f6dtc's and not have to gap them at all, and they last twice as long as the ngk's

What you think cicny?
thats $6/plug or $24/set. The ngk's are $2/plug or $8/set. Even if you change them2x as often, the ngk's are still cheaper.
your problem is the gap, not brand

already gapped correctly?
Never install plugs w/o measuring the gap. Thats even if you are told they are right when you buy them. The gaps can easily change in shipping, packaging or handaling.
you don't ever have to gap the f6dtc. mike hood runs them in his a4 without gapping them. and http://www.ecstuning.com/stage/edpd/...mp;engine=1.8T
at 3 bucks a pop, its more worth it. buy a couple sets and that should last you for quite a long time.

So you both feel that should definitely stop the popping and make the power come on smooth?
