That has to be the dumbest thing i have heard in a while. He would need to run like 8 or 9's and gapped extremely low. I would highly doubt with his car he would just slap on some plugs and go.

Odd, those shouldn't ever need to be gapped. I run those straight out of the box running 32psi and I know 034 runs them on their cars that push 40psi.
i dont keep promoting these plugs for no reason

i've never gapped mine and never had a problem. i don't even know what the gap actually is on them. guess you could measure the gap of the 3 electrodes and make sure they're the same all around, but that seems kind of **** to me lol
just get the tool and measure the gap. like cincy said they chould have changed and whats the point of running new plugs if they are gaped wrong. that puts you back in square 1 with your problems. just chekc and go. let me know if you need my help although im kind of a long ways away from you
