What to look for when buying a used 2003 audi a4 b6
I'm looking at my first Audi; a 2003 Audi A4 1.8T Quattro automatic with tiptronic. The car has 120,xxx miles on it. The timing belt was just replaced (a little late I know). The car is in pretty good condition, everything works. What stuff should I particularly look for in this car that could prevent future problems. The car was a repo so there are no previous service records... I haven’t pulled the carfax yet but it does have a clean title. When I test drove the vehicle it drove well although seemed a little sluggish accelerating. The tiptronic shifting wasn't as quick as I would expect When the turbo kicked in, it made a loud whoosh noise. not terribly loud though. Is this normal? Any advice or help much appreciated! Oh the asking price is $7900 with a 3 month/3000 mile warranty.

Well, it's definitely nice that the T-belt was just done; at least that way you won't have to worry about it for 60-70K or so. It's possible that it's on its third belt now, BTW; it could have had it replaced @ 60K and then 120K, or something similar.
No service records is a bit dicey, IMO, esp if the car seems sluggish. If you really like it, try to get the seller to agree to an inspection by an audi specialist (preferably chosen by you).
The price seems kinda middle of the road (or maybe even a little high) for that mileage, and with it having no records, I'd think you could talk them down a ways, especially if the inspection turns up anything that needs fixing.
