i have an idea that i want to toy with i come MOPAR Jeep world and i like the newer MYGIG Headunits



i know that there are 2 different speeds of the CAN-BUS high speed and low speed. for the MYGIG's there are high speed models and there are low speed models what i need to know is what speed CAN-BUS is a 05 A4.

 

Bump anyone have an idea

 

why not just get the stock navigation and stick it in the car? Its plug and play belongs in an audi and basically does the exact same thing as a jeep doubledin indash.

 

No idea. would say it's like a 56k but I'm just making that up to give you a number...

You could use a dinavin unit or find a stock one online.

 

i looked into the audi OEM ones and did not like the layout, i find the MOPAR ones easy to use can get them cheaper than the audi ones depending on the CAN-BUS speed. also the MOPAR MYGIGS can do al lot more once LOCKPICKED.

 

u can lockpick a vag nav. you just need the right software to do it or buy one that has already been cracked. WAtch movies while u drive use nav while u drive bluetooth features. Or get a davin unit that is compatible with android bluetooth so u can use your phone and apps and watch movies off netflix.

 

i looked into the davin system one i am a IOS guy and i can't stand android.

still have not gotten my question answered is the A4 high speen CAN or low speed CAN

leave the computer programing to me, that will be the easy part for me i just dont want to have to buy more than one MYGIG system. i may just build a indash car pc i have few 8 inch lilliput widescreen vga touchscreen monitor laying down in my lab and use a extra xplore technologies IX104C3 tabletpc that i have take a dock mount it in the trunck someplace but that is more work than i want to do....

the tablet in the jeep is a xplore technologies IX104C4 tabletpc running vista with every MOPAR jeep factory service manual and MOPAR OEM parts catalog as PDF's from 1999 to 2011 GPS topo maps vehicle diagnostics and live data music. once i get it i hope the next few weeks it will have ross tech's vag com and bentley manual

i am building this car for my wife and she like the mygig system and i want to get her what she wants.
