Default Wheel Spacer ?

I got new wheels/tires but the tires are too meaty and they rub on the control arm. So instead of getting new tires at $200 a pop I decided to get wheel spacers. What is the biggest spacer I can put on without putting too much stress on the wheel studs and causing failure?

Depending on your wheel/tire setup, dont forget that most of the time people have their rubbing issues because of the fenders.

You bastard. I'd die for CH's. lol. Kwik_shift has 20mm's on his USP and kept rubbing w/ 1 person in the backseat. We're trying to figure out how to tune the suspension to be a ride a little stiffer. So if you carry passengers don't get 20's or else it'll rub on your fender.
