Default Wheels

I have the stock 5 spoke wheels and they were a little chipped from whoever owned it before rubbin the curb. My question is can they be just sand blasted to look like polished aluminum or any way to do that with actual polish like ive seen where some people have done to their valve covers??

If not any pictures of those wheels painted different colors??

Yes. It takes a lot of [machine and hand] elbow grease with an aggressive polishing compound, but alloy wheels can be polished to bare metal and look very nice. Note that you'll have to thereafter clear lacquer seal them tho' to preclude the need to too often re-polish them.

Looks like mine were the same way. Judging by the spare, they were pretty thrashed. The previous owner painted them black, and I really like the look. Pretty easy to do yourself, and autozone sells the wheel paint. I want to get mine powdercoated, looks good, and lasts forever. Only problem is you have to bring them up there with no tires, or valve stems and wait a couple of days. Havent had the time to have my car sitting on blocks for a few days.

Here a a couple of pics of mine, the close up pic is kinda crappy, its raining and I ran out to get a pic.

But Huey do you know what kind of compound? Ive seen the sticks that look like clay kinda but I dont know much about doing that kind of thing. Any diy's online at all??

Also anyone seen any pictures of people doing this??

Mothers Mag & Aluminum or Billet polishes work well with their Powerball. Yes, they're aluminum alloy (stock painted/sealed).
