Default Windshield Wiper issue

My windshield wipers were moving very slow earlier this week. Now they aren't moving when I turn them on. It looks like they are going to start moving, but it's like they are stuck and can't get going. Anyone run in to a similar problem?

^+1 Take your time and follow that procedure. Replace the 0-rings and fill the cavity with a good grease and they will be fine.

If they are really stuck and you can't get apart, be careful not to distort the arms of the linkage. I bent mine bad enough that it took three tries to straighten it when it was ready to go back in the car.
