Default Winning against the dealer...

I just bought an A4 1.8T. It's been a week. Ithas 80k on it and I took it in for the timing belt kit maintenance, which really should have already been done. The car had little-no coolant in it. One of the serpentine belt tensioners went and the engine is seizing. I have to get it towed to my mechanic. If I were to call the dealer, does anyone think I have a case to argue for the money for the said repairs? I bought it as is, with a basic 30 day warranty. It's almost like they got the car and threw it on the lot without even looking at it. Typical delaler I guess.

So you took it the Dealer to do a timing belt or to the mechanic after your belt went???

The timing belt didn't go, but after reading on this board I took it toa mechanic to see if needed to be done and it did. I didn't buy it from an Audi dealership, but from another dealership.

My personal IMHO
Even if you would buy it from an Audi dealer, they could leave the old timing belt cause i think according to their service plan (periods) it has to be changed at 90k.
