Default wrecked and overheated

Hey guys my brother wrecked my 04 A4 yesterday, rear ended a guy. I haven't even seen the thing really don't want too. He drove it from the accident back to his work when he realized the coolant had all leaked out ofthe radiator and the temp gauge was in the red. He told me once it got in the red he stopped driving it but who knows. What kind of problems can I expect, or look for, as a result of the overheating. I don't mind the front end damage but if I have engine or accesory damage I'm goona be pretty pissed. Thanks for the help.

I guess it depends if he didnt drive for too long with no coolant. You better take it to the shop asap and make them check it. Good Luck.

Your response is worthless read the post. The question was what to expect or look for from an overheated engine, not here is my engine what's wrong with it.

Thank you audiprotein for reading and posting a legit response. He told me he drove it for about two miles and it began to overheat. He said the temp would slowly rise and then get in the red he would let off the throttle and it would start going down so it doesn't sound like a prolonged high temp to the engine.

Well hopefully it is ok, but your best bet is a mechanic... You better not drive it.If you dont have any euro mechanics/dealerships (expensive) find another one, they should be able to give you an answer.
