07/08 A4 2.0t or 3.2?
i'm partial to the 07 because of the full size spare and the nice exterior styling. before i bought the car i was also wondering about the 4 banger turbo or the naturally aspiraed v6. i chose the turbo because i liked the fuel economy and i noticed so many old turbo cars still on the road (volvos and mercedes mostly)...strong and reliable engines.
Try to keep all these questions in the same thread rather than digging up these old ones and starting new ones. This is the 3rd thread ive responded to about your 3.2 questions. Trying to help out here.
But for this answer, the 3.2 is fine for normal driving. If you want some Ummph get a 2.0t and a testpipe or high flow cat. Then get a Stage 2 chip tune. No dissapointments ever. Plus the 2.0t is more common to find if you are looking to buy. Better deals

Here is my feedback on the 2.0T.
It has nice spoil up, but is just enough motor for the car. I think if I end up with a 2.0T I will have to chip it to be happy with the car. My concern is will cause more problems then it is worth. I really don't understand why Audi is not giving this motor more punch from the factory.

The only other major thing is to make sure the coil pack recall was done (free) and that is an Audi / VW in general thing not a 2.0t thing. You will then love this 2.0t engine.
I traded the wife's A4 because it was up there in miles and I love her Mercedes better in all aspects except the engine. I miss that chipped 2.0t as it performed way better than what she has now.
