how come they are different? like steering wheel, door sills and moldings. 07 have s-line symbol on the steering wheel. s-line door sills and on the rear passenger door has s-line molding. 08 doesnt have all that. 08 only have the s-line badge on the grill and the s-line body kit. any one know why?

 

Mine didn't get the steering wheel or the door sill markings. :/

what do you mean special edition? the 07 s-line is a special edition? and the 08 just a regular s-line?

 

Hmmm...... I have a 08 S-Line with Titanium package and I have all the S-Line badging, ie at the bottom of the steering wheel door sills etc....

 

is yours 2.0T? maybe the 2.0t and 3.2 s-line are different.

i checked all the 08 2.0t s-line on ebay and autotrader and they are all like my.

 

I think you are talking about the difference between S-line appearance package which is standard on the 08. And the S-line sport package, which is an option on the 08 and includes stuff like bigger wheels, sports suspension, sport steering wheel, etc.

 

that might be it. my car suppose to have 16" wheels but the original owner upgraded to 17" and got charge for like $1000 or so. s-line exterior package he didnt get charge for, he also upgraded to prem. package, leather seats. so i guess my is prem. and others are sports. I like the sports better.

 

s-line sport package doesn;t come with bigger wheels it only lowers an inch and gets you a new wheel, special edition is all the left oveer 08 a4s that got new wheels and all the s-line stuff for free basically

 

so you are saying all the 08 a4s with s-line stuff are special edition and not s-line edition?
