197bhp vs 217bhp
I did search the forum before posting this so apologies if it's been covered already. I have a 2007 B7 A4 2.0T quattro but I'm a little unsure exactly which engine I actually have.
According to many sources, there were 2 different 2.0T engines available on the B7;
200 PS (147 kW; 197 bhp)
220 PS (162 kW; 217 bhp)
Using a VIN decoder all that is listed is that it is a 2.0T
Maybe there is a better decoder that lists the ACTUAL engine?

It is highly unlikely you got the 220 HP version as those tunes were special editions (one called DTM edition) from Audi mostly sold only in Europe. Not saying a few couldn't have made it over here but I'm sure the seller would have advertised a special edition to get more money out of you.
If it's really important I'm sure you can also call AoA with your VIN and have them check their database. They will know for sure. Those online VIN decoders are very generic and do not have the details as Audi does.
The only other option I can think of: Get a scanner tool (like Vag Com) and log a 3rd gear pull within the engine module to see what the engine output is reading. If this is what you want to do, google it as there are a few steps involved to calculate your HP.
