ok just got the cel and epc light the other day car is running 100% still.... used a generic code reader got p0601 int control module mem check sum error cleared it but it came back errr! but after doing some research i found a tsb saying the dealer has a new flash for the ecm to fix this problem, can anyone confirm this? my closest dealer is 50mins away thanks

I have a 2006 A4 S-Line that recently developed CEL and ECP lights at the same time. Car is running great. Generic code reader shows P0601 and looks like it is related to ECM check sum errors. Can anyone confirm that this is a dealer reprogramming issue?
