Default 2006 Audi A4 3.2 Quattro areas of concern

Hello everyone,
I am currently in the process of purchasing a 06 Audi A4 3.2 Quattro.
I have driven the car and it drives and looks brand new, but since this would be my first Audi, I would like to ask those that know better, for what to look for, in terms of problems etc.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,
Leko

do you know the milage? for a 2006, the timing belt might need to be replaced depending on the milage.

The car has just under 60K. Is 2006 a good year or it does not matter?

ok i think the belt needs changing around 75k. i assume that the 06 is identical to the 07. i had a couple of small issues. the intake runner has a motor that adjusts the angle and that motor is known to fail. a check engine light will come on if it fails. it's a minor issue. the 2nd issue i had was the PCV. it is known to fail. i've had the intake runner covered under warranty and i had to pay for the PCV fix myself (just under $300). other than that she's been perfect. so basically, over the 5-6 years i've owned the car, i've only had to pay under $300 to fix all issues. not bad at all.

if it's from a dealership, ask them about these two items. ask them what part number is on the PCV. it should end in P if it's the latest. however, the 3.2 is not really known (around this forum at least) to have the PCV issue. it seems to only occur with the 2.0T. i say go for it and you won't be disappointed. the 06 also has a full size spare tire with a matching wheel. that means alot to me.

Thank you for the great advice. The car is from a dealership, but not an Audi one.
It seems it is a done deal at this stage, I had it inspected by Audi, and they said the car has no issues from what they can tell.

Had my 2006 3.2Q since December 2007. It was a 1-yr lease and I love it. Just had my 75K service and car is purring like a kitten. Only issue so far is a finicky driver's seat/passenger power mirror setting issue. Other than that it's all :-)
