Default 2008 A4 2.0 T Headlight Replacement

Trying to remove my headlights but they will not come out. I removed the three torx bolts but it seems like the inner part of the front grill is stopping it from coming out. I have searched numerous online articles without success.
It looks like the complete front plastic bumper must come off, is that true?

Looks like it does as there is a hidden bolt. Spyder headlights has a great right up(with pics) on their install directions:

Yes, if you want to pull the entire assembly out, you must remove the front bumper cover (thanks, Audi).

If you're just looking to replace bulbs, I've had success replacing one of the bulbs (US passenger side) from the back by removing the air duct and moving a couple other small things out of the way. I hear it can be done on the other side too, but you have to unbolt the power steering reservoir (I think that's it) and move it aside.

Search my name. I replaced my factories with hid housings and they are awesome. The original halogen housings suck. Yes I have to remove the whole bumper to take out the headlight housings. Check out protuninglab.com for some cool ideas
