i have a quick question on the 30,000 mile service ..what does it need to do ?
i already change the air filter ,are there any other stuff i need to do? is just a oil change
will be fine or do i need to inspect anything..thank you

 

There isn't a 30k service. 25k and 35k. 25k is a minimal service... check the brakes, change the oil, that's about it. 35k involves checking everything.

jay you should have in your glove box a small booklet called maintenance audi 2007. this is the booklet where you can have the dealership stamp completed services...an **** german thing...you dont see this with us automanufactures...gotta love the stamp..also serves as proof when you sell/trade that services were done.

 

I have a noob question. How often should you change the oil. I have owned US cars my whole life and used synthetic in most of them changing the oil roughly every 5k. Is this the same with my certified preowned 07 audi a4 i just got a few months ago? Its just turning 28k on the dash and I have had it for roughly 3k miles. I havent done anything to in in terms of maintenance yet and I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction here. Thanks!!

 

oh and is there a manual I can buy on my car? any suggestions?

 

Just got a update supplement mailded to me for my maintenance booklet i keep in my dash...it recommends the cvt 2.0t timing belt to be replaced at 110,000 or 175kms.
