Default about 2.0T camshaft follower extension warranty

hi, I received the extension warranty letter from Audi couple months ago. But my car has APR stage 2 chip, intake, and turboback. Can these mods avoid my warranty? Should I put the stock parts back before I go to Audi dealer? or they don't really care about the mods? Anyone has experience? Thanks a lot

Put the stock stuff back on to be safe.

That stuff shouldn't affect the cam follower, but it depends how your dealership is. I personally wouldn't change out any hardware, but I'd probably switch the APR to stock mode.

I just bought my car. I read something about this cam follower earlier, but not exactly sure if it applies to me. My car has 118k on it. Do I still qualify for this cam follower? Is it considered a recall?

yes, if your engine is 2.0T. You need to bring it to your local dealer ASAP cause the warranty is only extended to 120000miles. You only have 2000 miles left. Also, this is not really a recall, but a warranty extension. They will only replaced the part if the part is bad, so not every 2.0T engine is qualify. But you should still bring it to dealer and have a diagnostic.
