I have an 08 A4 and my air bag light was on before I bought it. The dealership sent it to the local Audi dealer, where it has been serviced since new, and they replaced the airbag. Three days after I bought it the light came on again and I took it back to the dealer. They dealer I bought it from paid $1000 to have it fixed before I bought it and had the Audi dealer pay for it the second time..I've had the car for about two months, put around 2000 miles on it, (odometer reads 56745) and it came on again today.. My wife googled the problem and read that this is an ongoing issue with the A4 and A6 models...

This is a 2008 you would think Audi could diagnose the problem and fix it so it doesn't occur any more..

Does any one else have a B7 A4 or A6 that this is happening to and if so what was the solution???

I love my Audi and don't want to get rid of it already!!

 

The 'bag light came on in my '09 B8 the other day as well, just like that, as I was driving with my mate in the passenger seat. Will keep you updated on how it works out once I get around to having it fixed.

 

Thanks.. I took mine back to the dealer for the forth time now.. I wonder what part they will throw on it now...
