This is what happens: When I park the car in the morning at work,
I leave the front windows open a few inches. I try closing them
in the evening, the passenger window closes fine. But the driver window
goes all the way up, and rolls down several inches by itself.

I have to try closing several times again, or run my fingers along
the edge of the glass(just to clean it), or roll it all the way down and
raise it back, before it closes. Sometimes several tries at combinations
of the above.

Now it started hapenng everyday. Any ideas?

Your pinch sensor is activating on the driver side window.

You need to reset it:
(With key in accessories car not on)
1. Roll all the way down hold button down for 5 secs.
2. Immediately roll up all the way hold button up for 5 secs.
3. Pull key out wait about 30 secs.
Try window it should roll up and down normally and not do that.
