^ I'm starting to like these better since they look more OEM

I completely agree with you, GarretReid. I like the second ones you listed better as well. I actually came to this forum seeking the exact same knowledge as you. I see these same, or at least what appears to be the same, two models of headlights ranging anywhere from $245-$475. I was just wondering if anyone out there knows if there is an actual difference between these. Do you really get what you pay for? Or are these cheaper lights simply really good deals?

Here's some links that will show the price difference from the previous links by GarrettReid.

First thing you should look for is do you want your headlight HID ... because the 2 models you looking at are not HID ready ( that mean your gonna have to buy a hid kit and do some major modification to it if you wnat them to be hid ).

I bought the LLTek hid led headlight with black housing for my car ( mine is a b5 but they have some for b7 ) ... they cost a bit more but you can have it hid ready plug and play, direct oem replacement. You can look at there website here :

http://www.lltek.com/audi_headlights...g_lights_f.htm

I can say that i'm really happy with mine .. they look good and they are working perfectly

It's up to you but I think a audi deserve quality product and I will think twice before buying some ebay one ... also, your oem are worth around 700$ a piece and you can sell it afterward.

I ended up buying a pair of the second ones from Turbometal.com.

When I got them and unboxed them I was completely disappointed. They are made entirely of plastic and don't look nearly as robust as OEM lights.

That being said, there's plenty of people out there that do use these and are very happy with them.

To sadik666 i was also thinking about purchasing the LLTek hid led headlights for my b5.

First off i was wondering if there was any modifcation needed to install them? I wasn't sure if they were a one piece headlight or two.

Also in order to install them did you have to remove the front bumper?

Do you have any pictures of them installed?

No mod needed, simple plug and play. They are one piece. No need to remove the front bumper. You can look at my album to see picture of it.

Anyone know if there are any complications with installing these DRL headlights on a car that doesn't have DRL headlights already?
