at 89k the arm rest lid latch broker. I did a forum search to find this problem but the search engine on this forum SUCKS.... i apologize for those who may have answered this one but what does it take to fix it? thanks!

 

They ALL break! Its a horrible design. I would assume you just have to buy a new lid. My hinges broke and i just took it off and threw it in the trunk lol. But it's nice to have if you got the manual teanny

 

My wife just broke mine (2 weeks ago). She says it would have broken if I had opened, yeah right (just kidding).

ECS sells replacements. The OE is very expensive ($200+) while the after market runs about $70 (if memory serves). Since just my latch broke I am not replacing mine; for now anyhow.
