good night, i have a 2006 Audi a4 for a few months and when i pull the autopilot lever, it doesn't show anything on the dashboard and it doesn't engage the speed either, i would like to know if when i pull the lever forward, have to appears something on the panel? i try to change the lever for a new one and neither worked, can anyone helps me?

 

You need to check/replace your clutch switch which likely has gone bad. It is what cuts out the cruise when you depress the clutch to shift.

 

the car is automatic, but i don't know if the system is working. can you say to me if when the car is on but stoped and you pull the lever for the position that enable the cruise crontol, but you didn't set the speed yet, it is in stand by, if show something in the dash that indicate that the cruise control is on, waiting for set the speed? i ask this because in my golf mk7 when i star the cruise control function show a small green icon in the dash, then when i set the speed, the number of the speed stay bold. in the audi i dont know, and i dont see any video on youtube. thanks ..
