Im about 99% sure it will work for our cars since it says"[*]2.0 Liter 4-Cyl. 4V Turbo (engine code: BPG)" should be fine.[/ul]
Is your car not under warranty?

Sweet...thanks for the response. Yes, its still under warranty but I just want something to help me get to know my car so I can do as much maintenance myself as possible. Do you use any repair/maint guides? Thanks again

aa--

I don't blame you at all for wanting a repair manual. What you're looking at isn't actually a Bentley manual, though Bentley is selling it; it looks like it's the officialfactory repair manual published by Audi. I've got the paper versions for both our 1997 VW's -- Passat VR6 and Jetta. Kind of geeky, dry, and hard to wade through, but invaluable for their drawings and wiring diagrams.

Damn, they don't publish these things in paper any more?

The illustrated cover by Audi seems clear that this includes up to B7A4's -- and therefore I assume 2008 U.S. models. Starting with the 2002 B6's. Seems kind of careless of Bentley, though, to just sayit's"for the B6 platform."

Order it andlet us knowwhether itindeed includes the B7's -- to include 2008's now. I'll be interested in knowingwhen my A4 is delivered this summer. You can always ask for a refund, based on the web site description!

Thanks for the posts! One main reason I also want one is I'd like a schematic of the car parts, preferably an exploded view so I can see where everything is and how itfits together. I'll most likely order the "manual" although reading through the bentley forums made me a bit skeptical. Ill let you guys know...

If it's like both our VW factory manuals (and no reason why it shouldn't be), they show very clear diagrams of the respective assemblies. I can't remember whether they're exploded or not (don't have them with me at the moment)... They're notalways perfectly clear; sometimes you have to squint a bit and imagine what you're looking at from a different perspective. But theyidentify eachpart by name, in order of disassembly --and give torques and other hints when necessary.

No VAG parts numbers, though; those change too often. Butwhen I've needed to, I've just brought the manual in to aVW/Audi parts desk -- whether in the U.S., Germany, or now Poland -- and said "I need this part / ich brauche dieses Teil / potrzebuję tę część." The parts guys generally have the identical diagrams on their computers, and have always appreciated the assistance.
