Default Blowoff Valve for Audi A4 B7 2.0T

Has anyone put one on theirs? I'd like to put one on mine, but have no clue how pricing is on them and if it's worth it. Thanks, Blake

Both the same price.

Ok, That's what my dad said, because I'd like to get some more sound out of my A4 but he said even a BOV wouldn't add that much more sound...Guess I'll have to go to a A5/S5

I don't have one personally but my buddy Jason has a Carbonio intake that gives the car a much louder sound. You can hear his turbo blow-off much louder.

Ask him... https://www.audiforums.com/forum/members/jasondmaguire-48845/

worth is in the eye of the beholder.....personally spending 400 bones for a product that makes ur car sound.....cooler? it doesn;t make much sense to me....but dropping 200 on a test pipe to make ur car gain 15 hp and much needed torque.....again, in my opinion thats worth right there

the carbonio intake adds little to no power to ur car and people seem to go nuts for them.... theres other things that stretch your dollar so much further the way i see it

Sir can you educate us new guys on the test pipe? 15hp sounds like a good deal to me :-)

test pipe = down pipe without a cat.....it creates less back pressure which makes your car ''breathe'' better giving it alot more torque and increasing horsepower

umm theres a manufacturer that starts with an a but its not apr that makes a test pipe for around 200 and then ebay sells them for like 100

this along with fmic's are items you can get on ebay where the quality doesn't suck.....essentially you're looking for a 2.5 or 3 inch test pipe made out of any steel.....hell a custom exhaust shop can make u one that floats around that price as well.

down sides include your car being very environmentally unfriendly and also illegal.....but save ur old pipe and swap it back during emissions testing and you'll be fine

I do have the Carbonio and yes it makes the car sound "louder". When asked if it makes and rear HP gains I always say its like getting new tennis shoes when your a kid.
It makes you think you are running and jumping higher even if your not.
I am always looking for ways to gain more hp/tq, but some of the enjoyment of driving a car is the feeling that it gives me. I like the sound and feel of the car.
A Carbonio may not get you any real hp gains but it makes the experience so much more fun in my opinion!
