I have a 2008 A4 2.0T. I've been told that my brake pads/rotors need to be replaced. I've also been told that a warning light will appear if/when the pads get really worn. Is this the case? Does anyone have a pic of what this looks like?

The front pads have sensors, the rears don't.

Look in your manual, It will show you what the symbol looks like. It looks like a drum brake if I remember right, and pops up on the display between the tach and speedo.
