It finally happened...i got all my rotors and pads replaced today. It cost about 1200 for that included the 115k service from the dealership. Very please since my car has served me well in the last 7 years and 4 months! I hope my girl keeps me safe for another 115k!

 

Nice! I love new brakes. What other things did they do for the 115 service?

 

Sir the 115k service was minimal. only changed oil, cabin filter and not much else. My plugs have not been changed since 35k so expect at the 125 will get hit with a few more things. Also my cvt trans is likely due too?

 

You should change those now--it makes a big difference in drivability and it's not too expensive.

 

$1200 for brakes, oil change, and air filter?!?!
hate to burst your bubble but you coulda done all that and spark plugs for prolly under $400

 

that's the beauty of having a dealership work on it, they really bend you over. and you're right $400 or less would of been the bill for a weekend DIY job

 

No bubble bursted...i understand...the days of doing it myself are over thankfully. nice to not bust knuckles.
