Brakes and shocks over 100k AUDI Techs comments
b7 owners I take my audi in every 10k for service. I am reaching the 105k service since I just went over 100k on the mileage. I will have my brakes done at that time. I did not need new brakes up to this point. My question is...they appear to be okay but should I have the shocks and struts replaced?
THANKS to all the audi techs and other smart folks who have helped me on this forum since 2007!!

Depends. If your car is bouncing more than usual or they are leaking yes they should be replaced. You could also go ahead and replace them just to firm the control and ride back up. I am at 112k and was just thinking it might be time to swap mie out as well. I do plan on waiting a bit longer as they still seem to be functioning fine.
Thanks Rhodes...the ride is not like when it was new...when i floored it back when she was new the car hugged the road...appreciate the advice and will replace them instead of waiting for a few more miles down the road for one to fail. the new tires will definetly help my ride too!
