Hey guys.. have anyone thought of making carbon fiber grill surround for our A4? i was kind of bored... so i take the grill up with the carbon fiber tape.. it looks pretty cool... just wondering out there have done the carbon fiber surround....

I've been thinking about getting all the chrome on my car painted flat black or maybe even gloss black. On the Silver, the chrome just doesn't look good, and I hate that "flashy" look of chrome. Carbon fiber wouldn't be a bad option.

 

damn, thats a really good idea, almost so good that i would think about somehow trying to sell that idea to audi, i think it could look sick on the rs4 if they make all the accents carbon fiber and stuff and with the front lip spoiler etc...

but i dunno if you have seen the guy that sells carbon fiber pieces for the interior or the car like the ashtray and all the door/dash pieces in carbon fiber, and he just put up that he does the b + c pillars, as well as the chrome mirror housings on the front of the side view mirrors, and they look really good... so maybe you should try talking to him and run the idea past him and maybe he could work out a deal with you for the first one as a trial you know?!?!

but i would love to see some pics that you have with the tape, or if somebody doesnt mind taking some time and making that part CF on photoshop orsomething like that...

That looks pretty good. Dolphin Grey is kind of a darker color though. I would how it would look on Light Silver.

that looks really good, even with the dark color (i have the same) and i think it gives it a more unique touch, and only an audi enthusiast would know the difference from stock! if only we could find someone/place to start making them
