COuld this be the suspension
Hey guys new to the forums first shot at this. ANyway my 2006 audi a4 2.0t was recently hit in the snow ( i was stopped at a red light 2 morons got into an accident in the intersection and the corolla bounced back to hit me.) The damage was minor from what i could tell and the repair shop said. Replaced headlight hood bumber and radiator. Anyway its still covered under the insurances policy that all repairs are gauranteed. Now i have two problems the CEL came on i took it into the shop and they said it was the power steering pump. I was under the impression that the CEL applied to more engine related problems. The second is that it rides "bumpier" than i was use to. THey said the shocks are fine but i know for a fact its not as smooth (really bad roads in my area). If it is not the shocks what should i tell them to look at in terms of this "bumpy ride". Thanks guys all answers are super helpful
It sounds like its your suspension i cant think of anything else it would be.
Is your car still under warranty?
For the CEL i would take my car to auto zone(if it its not under warranty) then you can see whats causing the CEL.
