Default DRL button

Hi, does anybody knows why there is cars with a DRL button near the lights selector and some don't ?
I don't know if this selector come with and option or anything else.
I'm looking to buy a B7 in US state and need this button to meet the Canadian law.
Thanks

I am guessing that is because US models didn't require DRL therefor the option wasn't included. You need to by a Canadian speced model.

There's a lot of U.S cars that as it and they are real US cars because of the speedometer that are in miles as well as kilometers, Canadian models only have kilometer speedometer.
Thanks for the help

Look for A4's with the Convenience Package (PPX), recognizable from the exterior by the Bi-Xenon lights. That's the only way on a B7 you get factory DRL's.
