Default Drop in air filter

Looking to replace the air filter in my 2005.5 2.0T. I'm normally inclined to go K&N, but have read mixed reviews. If I get it and wash in to remove excess oil and dry first, does it even make enough of a difference to be worth it? I've also read the BSR filter is better since it's non oiled but still has some gains. Any opinions or the two? Or is it really just not worth it and better to stick with an OEM style one?

This one? Looks like it has great reviews compared to the K&N and doesn't use oil. I'll probably give this one a shot

Yes I'm not sure your exact car but if that's what came up with when you put your car in that's the right one. Have an aFe in my car.

So I went ahead and got an SRI for the audi, loves the way it sounds and haven't had any issues for over a month. Heres a video.
