Default Engine Mounts

2006 a4 Quattro a/t 2.0t

I am tracking 2 engine mounts for this model, dealer wants 1200 to replace so I will be doing them myself.

Can anyone verify what I have come up with so far for replacement parts....
drivers side: Genuine Engine Mount A7000397619OES: Advance Auto Parts

passenger: Anchor Engine Mount 8997: Advance Auto Parts

Is their a proper torque on these? Also is it worth trusting parts from rock auto I am thinking I found proper parts from them as well.

Thanks in advance,
-MagVI

The dealer charged me $1000 for my new motor mounts. The fluid leaked out and caused the engine to vibrate more than normal. One mount just required tilting the engine to replace the other mount required removing/lifting the engine since there was stuff in the way, and tilting wouldn't give the proper clearance to slide in the new mount.

I'd be willing to bet this is < 2 hour job for an Audi tech. You can do both of them from the bottom by loosening the motor mount brackets and lifting the engine a bit. Space is tight on the passenger side making it trickier, but there's no way it's a $1k job. Google around for DIY write-ups--they're out there. Replace the snub mount with an aftermarket poly version while you're down there.

I'm thinking of trying the 034 street density mounts, but I have a handful of jobs to get done first and mine aren't (currently) causing any issues.

The reason the quote it as a two hour job with a 1k price is that technically they are supposed to lift the entire engine out of the bay. Whether they actually do is a different story. You find, if you've researched, that the engine needs to be just carefully and properly jacked up off the subframe.

Can anyone tell me how many mounts/bushings there are to dampen vibration? I have a 2006 A4 2.0T FSI. A mechanic that I thought I trusted said that there are 4 on the motor and one on the transmission. My BS detector started going off and so I thought I would come here and get knowledge from the forum. TIA for any info.
