I'm a newbie to the car scene so don't judge please. I purchased an automatic 2008 Audi a4 1.8T (FWD) and I want to put an exhaust on it. I don't want it to be really loud, just more of a low rumble sound during acceleration.

However, since my car is auto, it doesn't shift gears unless I accelerate to 110km+ or something like that. Therefore the exhaust will sound pretty bad. The only solution is to drive it in tiptronic or sports mode, where the gears actually shift.

Do you suggest I buy an exhaust system, if so, which one? (I'm looking for a relatively cheap one)

I bought a MagnaFlow for $900 on Ebay.
Has a low growl,and not too loud on the highway.
Probably the cheapest available.
