I now have had this problem 3 times. Only happens in the rain. My car will all of a sudden go into "limp" mode and the traction/stability control light will come on as well as the EPC light. I can continue driving but have no extra power from chip and obviosly no traction control. If I turn the car off and back on again both lights stay on but normally the next day the lights will be off but the CEL will be on. Something electrical must be getting wet in the rain. Anyone have this problem or know what could be causing this? Any help is appreciated!

 

Any luck with figuring out your traction control light ? Mine goes on and off pretty often. I am taking it to the shop soon. I will post what I find out

 

I had that happen on my Jetta, snow slop got where it shouldn't have and caused the system to flip out for a bit.
