Default Fallen out of love :(

I used to love my wifes car. I thought the 6 spd was great, loved the motor, loved everything about the car. I deployed for 15 months, and didnt drive the car for about 18 months total. A few months ago I bought an 05 Mustang with a Steeda short throw shifter and other goodies, and now I cant stand driving the Audi. It is so bad that I make her drive when we take it anywhere and that NEVER used to happen. The clutch seems way to light, like nothing is there at all, and the shifter feels like it is attached with spaghetti noodles. And mechanically the car is just fine, it is just the way it is. It is still a beautiful car, and way classier than the stang, but now I prefer to enjoy the car from the passenger seat. How sad, right?

The worst part is all of this is easily fixed through that aftermarket, but she wont let me touch it. Do whatever I want to the Mustang, but leave her car alone. Damnit!!!

I had the same feeling a while back with my AUdi after getting a DSG GTI. Awesome difference.

I have fallen for the 3.0 convertible s5 supercharged. Black with red seats. Holy crap is all I can say. I want it bad.

Yeah, it sucks. I still love the car, especially now cuz we just got our Yakima rack for our bikes and snowboards so it is even more functional than ever. I just hate driving it.

Eh, get her to let you mod it and you won't think the same thing. I can't tell you how many of those mustangs (just like yours) i have blown away at the drag strip with my little old 1.8 4 banger.

If your sneaky with the cash go slap an APR or REVO tune and if she doesn't drive it hard she won't know. When You drive, you can really feel it.

Or go get a trial tune and show her what could be. I just did that with REVO since my local dealer does them and the a4 was in for service. The Trial is 5 hours and she always told me no. She said the car felt like a turd when the tune wore off and thought something was wrong with the car. She wants to know when REVO goes on sale again lol. Usually they are $500 and on sale are $400. I talked to REVO and no sales yet but they always run a few a year. I have APR on the GTI and they are on sale now for $600 which is a deal for them.
