Default Fire in the trunk!

SO there I was, on the highway, not much traffic, just me and some open road. Moving along at a little more than the legal speed when I spot a real nice car moving in on me. I could see LED lights on the headlights! It was new a S6. The guy pulled up next to me and looked over smiled at we booth took off. Now I know he could have smoked me but he didnt, we just drove together.
After about 20 miles I had to get off at my exit so i signaled and he gave me the salute.
I drove about 5 more miles to the Audi dealer so I could pick up a new spare key for the remote start that I was installing latter that day.
When I got there I walked into the service area to get my key and I could see some smoke coming out of my sunroof! I asked the guy to look at it so we walked out and there was smoke coming from the area that the roof slides back into. He was looking at it and I saw a little smoke coming from the gap buy the rear window and the trunk lid.
I opened the trunk and POOF!!!! FLAMES!!!! (now that's a hot car)

I tried to use a towel i had in the trunk to kill the flames but the melted plastic got on it ant it was on fire!
I had a small fire extinguisher rolling around in the truck that I had pulled out of my last car so I went to grab the. BIG MISTAKE! it had been in the flames and it was HOT!!! Burned my hands and fingers real good. Any way, pulled the pin and nothing!!! (damn pep boys crap) Shook it up and tried again and got the white powder crap to spray out somewhat, enough to put out the flames.
Turned out that the car battery that I was taking to my friends shop had fallen on its side during the spirited driving and made contact with the metal fire extinguisher and caused sparks to catch the carpet on fire.
Good thing I was at Audi! I had them order the parts and in less than a week (and $1175.63) I was good as new.

Trust me I was pissed when it happened. But, as I said it was all taken care of in less than a week.
What I'm upset with now is how other people around where I live don't give a crap about other peoples stuff.
I went to the bank today and I saw a guy in a SUV bump my car when he was illegally parking. He got into his car a did one of the bumper car things as he was pulling out. By the time I got to the car he was gone, and now I have a cool scratch and two round dents where his license plate screws hit my bumper.
I called my people, and they called their people, and now I have an appointment with the auto body shop on Wednesday!
The worst part is I know it will just happen again. I live near, and work in New York City. Just last week some lady in a Mercedes bumped me at a red light. She was trying to edge out another driver and she bumped me. I got out walked back and looked at my bumper with her car pushed up against it. I looked at her and threw my arms up as if to say "WTF" she wouldn't even look at me!!!! well it didnt scratch my car so I was like oh well......
tell next time.

dude no offense but jersey sucks for manners, my brother lives in jersey city and recently moved from downtown to a different spot in the city (he commutes to new york as well) and i saw a lady parrallel park her behomoth of an suv into a spot that a mini cooper wouldn;t fit into.....anyways as she blantly hit my rear bumper i watched in agony....appoached her and the convo went like this

"you just hit my car"

".....no i didn;t"

"i watched you hit my car and your lieing to me"

".....well its not much damage"

"you hit my ******* car are you serious?"

"...i didn;t hit anything"

"again, i watched you try to parrallel park and you hit my bumper with your car...."

"....ok"

at this point i was so heated that i realllllllly wanted to call the cops on her but my brother needed to move and it was nothing i couldn't buff out on my own time and dealing with any type of accident blows but still...she didn;t even apologize that got me really pissed
