Flywheel problem
Good afternoon folks,
I have an 2008 Audi A4 2.0 TDI with the CVT Automatic gearbox.
Now the problem is; when I start the car after it is warm, it makes this really horrible rattling noise. It is a very rough start.
My mechanic had a very quick look at it, and he said that he suspected it is the flywheel that is on its way out, but he would have to get it on the ramp to double check.
Due to work commitments, i haven't had a chance to take it back to my mechanic.
I have a few forums, but people are giving different opinions as to what the problem could be. Especially since it only happens when it is warm. When the engine is cold, it starts as normal.
