Default Full-Size Spare Tire

OK, so I've got a new A4 Special Edition on order since Friday.

The thing apparently comes with a full-size spare tire on an alloy rim that (I assume) matches the other four rims. That explains the somewhat tight trunk volume!!

So how do you guys "manage" the spare tire? Do you rotate it with the other wheels, like folks did before space-saver spares? Or just leave it there forever like a space-saver?

Well I would have left it there, but I had a flat about two months ago so I had to use it. I only had 6500 miles on the car.

You can check the manual. It probably recommends rotating it with the others -- if the wheel matches.
