Seems very high. You had better talk them down alot. It had better be Certified as well or I would not touch it. Certified cars have full warranty until 100k miles or 6 years. Thats all I buy.

Too high huh? bummer. It is a clean title but I don't think it is a CPO. What should I expect to pay for something like this? I live in Pa.

You could try KBB.com for dealer pricing which usually accurate but you seem to have a very high priced car especially not CPO. You need the warranty. German = expensive failures once something does happen. Not saying it will as im at 70k problem free miles but you never know.

Look man, when I say way too high I mean its like 3 to 4 grand higher than it should be. For that price it should be certified. I know its got all the extras and blah blah blah but lets not forget that its a stick shift so they are having hard time selling these. Mine was advertised for 19995, I got it for 12900. It took me a month but I got it. One of the reasons was because not that many people were interested in manual transmission. They had it on their lot for over 2 months. Those cars on auctions are like 9 to like13, 14000. Mine is 2006,32000 miles, it doesnt have navigation but it has all the other stuff. And its half of the price that u are looking at. Just dont waste ur money and give them to those pigs. Do ur homework and find a better deal. Thats just my opinion though.

I was just thinking... I'm planning on doing some mods to the car (chip, dv, suspension). I've heard of 1 of 2 things happening.

1. As soon as you chip the car the warranty is voided.

2. You can modify the car as much as you want and the warranty will still cover it as long as they can't prove the issue was caused by one of your mods.

I just don't want to pay more for a warranty if it's not going to cover anything once I chip it.

Well I am running stage 2+ and they still did some work on the suspension that the warranty covered. I hadn't messed with the suspension at that time. So they covered it. But if you do engine and suspension mods, there won't much left to be covered under warranty. Some dealerships are weird, they are like mods friendly dealers, and others are just jerks about anything you do. So you better talk to them first and see what they say. Whatever they tell you, try to get it in writing, like an email maybe. So that way you have a proof.
As far as chips go, you can run different programs, stock, 93, 100 octane. You can switch to stock right before you take it to the dealer and lock it so they won't be able to tell you are chipped. I got my chip from APR and I think its pretty cool. There might be better chips out there, not sure though. If you only do chip, and no engine mods, that won't help you a lot. The most you can get out of it is stage 1 and its not that much of a difference.
