Hot starting issue
Hi
Anyone know why my car is harder to start when hot? It starts fast when cold and when hot it struggles a little. As I can remember this issue wasn't there when I first bought the car.
I replaced cam and crank position sensors and coolant temp sensor. I have also got the battery, alternator and starter tested all checked out.
I have discovered that when I disconnect the coolant temp sensor then it starts as fast hot as when cold, but like I said the sensor is new and I get 5 volts on the connector.
Could map or maf be at fault? I have tried testing the map sensor, but I have no idea what numbers are good. I back probed the map sensor and at idle I got 1.6 volts and at 2000rpm I got 1.7 volts is that good?
Air filter is new and diesel filter is new. Also no fault codes.
Also, I don't know if it is related, but the idle is a little rough. Every 3 sec or so the engine shakes a little extra hard.
I have 2.0 TDI BLB
