I have a couple of questions as far as the power potential of a a4 2.0t?

How much power can the a4 2.0t drivetrain handle?

Who produces the best turbo kit for the a4 2.0t?

Thank you.

At this point i'm looking for the largest turbo to use on the stock 2.0t engine, and that will have a usable powerband. And I don't mind rasing the fuelcut as much as possible, while still being safe for a daily driver. Oh and one more thing the a4 2.ot quartro drivetrain can handle anything you can throw at it, or just the fwd audi drivetrain?

Info please,
quattro, fwd, manual, tiptronic, cvt?

manual quattro > 400hp clutch tends to limit
tip quattro ~ 300hp tip doesn't like more than this long term
fwd ~ 250hp
cvt no idea

Motor can make lots of horses, but the tranny / clutchhas to deal with it, and fwd can't handle as much engine torqueas quattro can.

Really? Dang you guys and this board. I might have another project car on my hands now. Please someone confirm what I can do with my 2006 A4 2.0T FWD tip. What are my limits and what should I look at doing first?

Tip cant handle jack maybe 350hp. If you wanna go big you have to go stick and quattro can handle just about anything as well.

Tip can handle power just fine, but your torque Converter will crap out on ya. Or at least that is what I understand from the S4 guys. but these are all B5 guys so maybe the B7 is different

I've been wondering that myself. It doesn't seem Audi sells the CVT with anything greater than the 3.2, so that may be about the most it can handle (255 hp/243 lb-ft).
