Smile Im Almost Got ITTTT!!!!

Well as i said on another thread, i was looking for an audi a4 06 2.0t

I went t the dealer twice ( a vw) and i test drove it the second time. The engine seemed to be shaky at rest but it calmed down after a while must be because the weather was cold??? well other than that, when i accelerate, it does make much more noise than my current a6 01. i waas wondering if that was just normal too??? I havent drivenn an A4 before so i didnt know that feeling, it felt as if it was a manual car at rest it shaked...........

besides that i loved the car, hopefully i can get it home by saturday

any tips on what to do in upgrades? Im defenetly getting a K&n filter ( i have one on my a6 its great)
im also thinking of getting a chip, but i dont know much about it

any other maintanance i should know that is not the same as an a6???

thanks for any answers

I (and everyone else who has one) highly recommend chips!

The three most common are APR, GIAC, and REVO. They're approximately equivalent, but APR will let you toggle programs with the cruise control lever.

A boost gauge is also cool.

It's best to get when they're on sale, which they have a few times a year. Depending what options you want, you're looking at around $600-800.

I'm not sure where exactly the SD card goes, since I don't have a nav system.

They all have a bit of a shutter at idle its jut the nature of the car. I work at a dealer and before I bought mine I drove a 2.0t automatic and TT with the 1.8t and the both had the same rough idle and that bit of a squeek from the outside.

This is bizzare. You seem to be talking about the same car I just bought.

It DID have a shudder - though they changed the timing coils and it's all better. It is a white '06 with Nav and I bought it at a VW dealership.

It's amazing! I really enjoy this car. I hope I didn't just snipe the car from you!

Cool sad

Well that sounds like a good color all white

i was looking at a gray one.......... at the end i did not get it, the bank wanted to give me about 13% interest since i was a fist time buyer, im 21 still in school

so i decided to stay with my cuddly A6, since my sister got it on her credit when i was 19, i only have 1 more year to pay it off

Well I guess ill be going back to the A6 forum lol

hopefully in 1 year ill get the 09 A4 with the LED lights lol and nav

Heh, that sucks. When I went to the Audi dealership they wouldn't even bother to run my credit!

But keep paying your credit cards on time and you'll build up some history and be able to get a lower rate in the future.

Better luck next time!

I bought my 2006 2.0T with Premium Package CVT at 14% interest which I can and will refinance in a year for a lower rate. Bought it thanks to a trade in worth 8000. Great car totally worth the buy! I'm 21 and glad I'm building my credit while owning something I'll probably have a hard time letting go
