Default issues with RS4 widebody bumber for a4

I got into an accident a little while back and my front bumper took some damage. Since I wanted to put a different style bumper on anyway I took the opportunity to get it done now.

I got the extreme dimensions duraflex rs4 widebody bumper for the a4 and aside from an issue with the mesh iI was mostly pleased...until I took it to the body shop to have all the work done. I didn't notice or think about how the new bumper did not have little.notches where it'll hook on to the car, I figured the shop would take care of it. Since they are a collision repair shop though its not something they usually do and I might have to put those notches in myself(same thing the manufacturer told me).

My question here is, what would the best way to go about this be? Cut in the notches with a blade? Use some kind of dremil bit? Also what would the best way to determine where the notches need to go be? Measuring the OEM bumper?

Also, the fog lights are becoming an issue as well. Can I use the stock a4 fog lights if I get the light mounts n trim for that bumper? Everywhere I've looked says the fog light for the a4 s4 n rs4 is the same.

Lastly, the plugs for the front washer. If i dont haventhe washer itself n there is nothing that will oush that cap forward, couldnt it just be glued in place?

I know this all sounds like im a total idiot, but i learn and figurw things out very quickly. Im always careful with whatwver im dking to not screw things up. With orooer guidence im more than capable of doing most things on my own so please save the "you should just pay to get it done" line. If i feel like im in over my head ill cough up some cash. Otherwise, please let me determine what i can n cannot do.
