I just installed LED license plates and city lights. It probably took about 8 minutes for the license plate lights and about 20 minutes for the city lights(back of headlight assembly was really tight). I got these led's from autolumination.com's website, and basically plug n play. My A4 is a 2006 with no tech pckg.(no bi-xenon, color DIS, memory seats), could be the reason why I"m not getting the "light bulb out" warning with these LED's. I really like the way they look, I think it's better than the yellow-ish stock bulbs.

that looks really good... im pretty sure the licensce plate lights ate 6411 right? but what are the city light numbers?

 

also, what is the length of the license plate bulb that you ordered as well cuz i know there is 39mm and 42 or 44mm bulbs

 

The license plate bulbs are Festoon Dome Bulbs 39mm (9 led)super white and it replaces 3423 3425 6411 6418 6423 6461 bulbs


The city lights are 194 replacement city bulbs

Do your city lights flicker? I just got a pair of the 194s and when I installed the driver's side light, it flickers. I don't have the tech package either. Do you think it could be because I only installed one? The turbo is too damn hot to do the passenger side now.

The 194s for the city lights are $9ea from autolumination. I need to figure out the flickering though or I'll be returning them.
