Unhappy A lot of Break Dust?

I have a 2006 Audi A4 2.0T 58k miles. Got the car over the summer and it seems like when ever i clean the rims they are covered in Brake dust after one ride. I clean my mom and Dads car and they dont get brake dust right away. Do the Audi brakes give off alot. Also im going to have to get a brake job soon, should i get different brake?

Brakes... break is for kit kat...

Audis usually do give off a lot of dust... but when you do the brake job just get nice pads and you'll be okay

On you next pad change try ceramic pads and you'll see a big difference. The stock pads are soft and create a lot of dust. Keep the wheels clean as the brake dust is corrosive and will eat the clear coat finish.

Just got a brake job done I ended up choosing Zimmerman Coated rotors and Hawk Ceramic performance pads....also painted my calipers red and they look great.... Everything seems to be awesome and from the start break dust has been cut down....we will see how that goes

I put low dust ceramics on both my Audis and all three of my Crossfires. Big reduction in dust.

I recently did my own brake job, and installed Ceramic's. It's been 3 weeks since I've washed my car, and this is what the rims currently look like:

Disregard the wheel damage in this pic. The original owner of my car apparently had no idea how close she was to curbs when parking.
There's a rim repair shop near by, but I haven't wanted to part with $85 per rim just yet to bring them back to newish. Being in the shade really discolored this picture, also.

I took both of these pictures seconds apart. It's amazing how different the color is on both of them.

I used Akebono Euro Ceramic Pads and Centric Premium Rotors. Granted, it was around $550 after shipping, but these were well worth it. Initially I thought about putting slotted or drilled rotors on, but couldn't justify the additional cost, when the brakes on this car are phenomenal anyway.

Here are the links:
