Like the post says, I have considerably lower volume on all preset FM stations versus stations tuned in manually. The FM stations I have programmed into my presets are also a lot lower in volume than my CDs. I have the stock non-bose symphony system in my 2008.

 

Same here. Read somewhere else that this is a known issue with no fix. Only read that on one other place, so not sure how accurate it is.

 

I think i've also noticed this on my 2008 A4 (non-bose symphony). Its not much of a difference in volume though, so its hard to be certain. FWIW i think the car stereo could use a bit more amp power.
