Here are some pictures, Valve Cover? Help me out. Thanks, Sorry i dont know the codes as they are gone after I get off the gas. Also Cyclinder 3 as noticeable oil spill on outside (See pictures, should be first coil pack/spark plug)

The codes aren't gone. Just the CEL. Even if the CEL goes out, the codes should be stored in the computer. Flashing CEL, sputtering, etc under heavy throttle? I would say you are most likely looking at misfire codes (anything in the 30x range where x is cylinder number 1-4). Why? Not sure. That sure is a lot of oil residue, though.

How many miles do you have on the car? How many since your last plugs/coil packs? Ever have the PCV replaced? There was a fuel system customer service program where they replace the PCV, intake runner motors, low pressure fuel sensor, and maybe another part--I forget now. Has that ever been done? How long has it been leaking that much oil? How much is it going through? A quart a week? A quart a month?

Not a lot to go on here, but if it were me, I'd get that car into a competent mechanic that knows Audis before something that's too expensive to fix went wrong.

Have you had the coils replaced? There was a service action some time ago, in which Audi replaced the coils since they had a history of failure.

That is technically cylinder two not three.

For the record for anyone who happens on this thread. That leak was a messy oil refill job combined with a leaking valve cover gasket, it was in plain sight in the pic. Pretty easy task and cheap.

The copious smoke coming from your exhaust is your turbo seals starting to go and if you have power loss as well then the seals are toast. You either rebuild or install a new Ko3 turbo. Do Not drive normally when this happens. You are taking away oil pressure from the engine. You will notice during acceleration at about 38 mph the loss of power, exhaust ploom like you're crop dusting and a mechanical rattling in the engine bay. After hitting 35 mph ish you have to avoid engaging the turbo. So you'll have to limp to higher speeds if that makes sense. Either that or ruin your motor by driving normally or just don't drive altogether.

Re: the PCV and coil packs - those are too often used as a go to when anyone has problems and is almost a generic reply. It's good to help, but you should put some knowledge behind your remedies.

I hate to break it to you, But the leak was NOT a messy oil fill. I always topped it off with a funnel. Other than that, I'm just going on what the shop put on the coil packs. Regardless the car was traded in.
