FYI, just finished installing a Neuspeed SSK and it is AWESOME! I had a BMW 330i and I with a UUC Shift kit, so my expectations were high. The Neuspeed made the shifting so much more crisp and took the huge throws out of the gearbox. The install was twice as easy (45 min at the most). I got it at Greedspeed for $179.00 (it was $229.00 on Neuspeed's site) with free shipping and had it in 3-4 days (nothing ever gets to NM that fast). If you're looking for something to do to your B7 that won't break the bank...go for it.

 

Glad to hear it. Is the kit sturdy and well made? The biggest thing I fear is installing something that is cheap and sloppy. Didn't happen to take any pictures of the install did you?

 

No pics, but there's a write up on a site called A4mods (I think) and it's really accurate. I can answer any specific install questions if you like. The shifter itself is solid. It is all metal, no plastic. When you pull the OEM shifter, it's lower section is crappy plastic and cheap metal. After my UUC shifter, I was worried about the cheapness too, but it is really solid, nice craftsmanship. It really shifts sweetly.
