It's been fun to be part of the B7 forum for the last 7 years, but it's now time to move on! Tomorrow I'm picking up my new allroad.
I'll miss the B7 forum, as well as my manual transmission, but everyone here has been quite helpful over the years. I still may occasionally check in, but I'll probably now be mostly over at the allroad or B8 forums. I will finally have a vehicle that's better suited to hold my 16.5 foot kayak on its roof.
Happy Driving!!!!

You've been a valuable part of this forum--check in from time to time. All the best. Too bad about that username, though.

Had the new Allroad for a 4 days now. It's a great car, and I'm still getting use to the technology, and in particular the automatic. I've gone for the clutch several times! It definitely has a different personality, from my old girl. It feels weird to not feel the car hammer and pound over every road imperfection. The Allroad may not handle as crisp as the A4 I did, but to be honest, I've kinda gotten to a point in my life where I'm "over that". That said it still handles quite well. She's an awesome freeway cruiser, and rides controlled but not harsh. It's also amazing how much slower the engine turns, but yet it is much peppier than the good old A4. And yep, King Wulfgar, it was about the time I hit submit that i realized that the username might be an issue down the road, if I ever changed Audi's. Ooops!
