Default New to audi cars. No space to fit armrest?

Ok so I recently got myself a 2005 a4 b7 and just noticed there's no space to fit an armrest? Even though the same model car comes with armrests on some of then.

Would just like some insight as to why I don't have the space for one 😂 thanks guys http://m.imgur.com/dvriVPT

There is space, but your entire console is different than the one that comes with an armrest. The B7 armrest, sits up high, is narrow and is mounted to a hinge that flips up. It would cover most of your e-brake handle and the little bin to the right of it. I would guess you'd have to swap out your entire console.

That's so strange? I had a 01 Jetta before this and it didn't come with an armrest either but if was pretty much plug and play. So weird how you have to swap out the entire centre console which to be honest sounds like an absolute pig of a job.

I was really just guessing based on what I know of how it sits/mounts to the console and looking at yours there are absolutely no signs of mounting points. You could always try a junkyard.

Given that your car is RHD, I'm going to assume you're not in the US. Getting one without an armrest have been an option in your country. I don't think it ever was here.
